Vita Program
PHDC is partnering with the IRS to host the VITA (Voluntary Income Tax Assistance) program in our main location.
VITA Program’s goal is to aid individuals and families of medium to low income in filing their taxes for free during the 2025 Season.
If you or anyone you know is looking for help filing their taxes for free, PHDC will host tax filing sessions from February 10, 2025, through April 14, 2025.
The sessions will open at 10 A.M and close at 3 P.M on Mondays and Saturdays.
Qualifications for Volunteer Income Tax Assistance, any of the following:
- Earned less than $67,000.00 dollars the previous year.
- Suffers from a disability.
- Has limited understanding of the english language.
Assistance is done by volunteers certified by the IRS to be qualified in tax law.
