The Pittsburgh Hispanic Development Corporation (PHDC) has an internship program with schools to empower students in their experience in business and community development. The Hispanic Corporation also welcomes volunteers who are seeking to support our mission or gain experience while working with a community in need of support. Most interns and volunteers are bilingual but it is not a requirement for anyone who wishes to be part of PHDC.

Pittsburgh summer internship program: 2021

In 2021 the Pittsburgh Hispanic Development Corporation hosted two students from the Pittsburgh Summer Internship Program of the Dietrich College of Humanities and Social Sciences from @Carnegie Mellon University. The participation of students is fundamental to accomplishing the goals of PHDC.

PHDC is searching for volunteers who want to aid people in the community file their taxes for free.

In order to help tax filers, a volunteer will go through the necessary training from the IRS website. 
Volunteers will qualify for up to 18 CE credits, for those who may use them.
